Anubias Nana Petite is a compact, beginner-friendly aquarium plant known for its small, rounded leaves. It grows well without CO₂ or powerful lighting and can be attached directly to rocks and driftwood.

Lighting

Low to moderate lighting is best. Too much light can cause algae to grow on its slow-growing leaves.

Aim for approximately six to eight hours of light per day and place the plant in partial shade if algae becomes a problem.

Planting

Anubias Nana Petite grows from a thick horizontal stem called a rhizome. Never bury the rhizome, as this can cause the plant to rot.

Instead, attach it to:

• Rocks
• Driftwood
• Aquarium decorations

Use aquarium-safe glue, thread, or fishing line to hold it in place until its roots attach naturally.

Fertilizer And CO₂
